178 active coronavirus cases in Seraikela-Kharsawan on Sunday, no new deaths

Seraikela: The active coronavirus infection cases in Seraikela-Kharsawan district went up a little from 169 on Saturday to 178 on Sunday. This slight increase may be a result of greater number of tests carried out during the last 24 hours. Fatalities, however, remain stable at 11.

According to official data, the district has carried out 1,28,495 tests till Sunday. Out of these, 1,21,117 samples have been found negative, while 3,425 samples have been found positive.

Till Sunday, 3,236 patients have been cured and discharged from hospitals and home quarantine.

Till Sunday, 11 persons have succumbed to the virus and the figure has been holding up for quite a few days.

The number of active cases went slightly up to 178.

Test results of 4,093 samples are still awaited. On Sunday, 958 samples were collected for testing.
