Ranchi: Coronavirus has claimed 4 more lives in Jharkhand on Friday. With this, the total number of deaths caused by the virus in Jharkhand state has reached 824.
According to official data, till date, the state has tested 28,02,066 samples. Out of these only 95,425 samples have tested positive. Even among those cases, only 6,543 patients are active cases of coronavirus infection as 88,058 patients have already been cured and discharged from different hospitals of the state as well as home quarantine.
In all, the state has seen 824 fatalities due to coronavirus pandemic.
On Friday itself, 473 new cases were detected, while 818 persons were cured and discharged. 4 fatalities were also reported taking the total number of fatalities to 824.
