Saryu Roy ready to jump into Bihar Assembly elections fray

BJM leader ready to support well-wishing BJP candidates, also ready to support Laloo, Nitish both

Jamshedpur: The senior member of Jharkhand Assembly and former minister Saryu Roy is now ready to join the fray in upcoming Bihar assembly elections and play a role by supporting candidates who have helped him in the past or have had good vibes with him.

Without caring for political ramification, today he declared that he would be willing to help all those BJP candidates who have had good vibes with him. He also said that he would be willing to do campaigning for Laloo Yadav and Nitish Kumar both.

Now, this is a knot only he can solve. He is a unique politician who has shown willingness to campaign for candidates from BJP, Laloo Yadav as well as Nitish Kumar.

Proving his popularity and political connections across the board, he clearly showed that he does not care much about political niceties and would do what he thinks is appropriate at a particular time and place.

Saryu Roy hails from Khanita village under Jalwasi panchayat of Itadhi block in Buxar district of Bihar.

Saryu Roy was a student of Science College, Patna and has worked side by side with Laloo Yadav as well as Nitish Kumar during student life.

He was also an MLC in Bihar and members of his family are active in Bihar politics too.

Saryu Roy has made it clear today that he would be happy to campaign if invited by RJD leader Laloo Yadav, JD (U) leader Nitish Kumar or Pappu Yadav.

These leaders had supported him when he was fighting as an independent candidate on Jamshedpur East seat. He remembers it and is willing to return the favour.

This is the key to the political knot that may puzzle others. He will help anyone who had helped him earlier. He says that if any worker-like candidate from BJP calls him to seek help, he would surely go because in the Assembly elections all of them had helped them.

In Bihar Assembly elections Saryu Roy is preparing to target Raghubar Das. He has also made it clear by tweeting about it. He said that if corruption is made an issue in Bihar elections, then Laloo government’s corruption and Raghubar government’s corruption would compete with each other as issues during campaigning.
