Bag stolen at Tatanagar Rly Station rest room

Jamshedpur: Unknown thieves stole bag with money, ATM card, ornaments and clothes belonging to a couple from Barbil. The couple from Barbil was staying at Tatanagar Railway Station restroom for taking a train to Varanasi for treatment.

According to GRP sources, Barbil resident Pradip Kumar has been suffering from kidney and chest related problems for quite some time. He and his wife were going to Varanasi for treatment and had disembarked at Tatanagar station for taking train to Varanasi.

After taking medicine, Pradip Kumar slept off. Wife too dozed off. Unknown thief somehow entered the rest room evading the GRP man deployed there and decamped with their bag.

After waking up and finding their bag missing, they informed the GRP.

The CCTV footage has recorded the act of theft. The police have taken into custody several persons in this connection.

The couple has left for Varanasi. Police are interrogating those who have been rounded up.
