Ranchi: Covid-19 has started taking a heavy toll on the state on a regular basis. On Friday too Corona has given no respite to the state and has taken 15 more lives in Jharkhand taking the total death toll to 224 in the state. On the other hand, the state also registered 1175 new positive cases.
On Thursday, 15 persons have died of Corona in Jharkhand. With this the death toll for the state has now reached 224.
Meanwhile, 13,678 persons have been cured and discharged in the state too on Wednesday.
In all, 1175 new positive cases have been found in the state on Friday.
With this, the total number of infections in the state has now reached 22,125. Meanwhile, till date 13,678 persons have been cured and discharged in the state.
Till date the state has tested 4,52,134 samples, out of which 22,125 were found positive. The number of active cases is 8,223 in the state.
