Jharkhand Chhatra Morcha demonstrates against fee hike in LBSM

Jamshedpur: Students of LBSM College, Karandih today demonstrated against fee hike under the leadership of Jharkhand Chhatra Morcha.

The students were demanding retraction of the fee hike decision.

In a written submission, the students demanded that no fee hike be effected during Corona crisis. They also said that the college should also not collect fee during the Corona crisis.

They said that most students are facing difficulties as their parents are not in a position to bear the burden of fee hike.

They said that if their demand are not met, JCM would launch an intensive agitation.

The principal said that the college does not get anything for intermediate classes and students have some confusion over this.

He said that while JAC has increased its fees, the college is unable to spend on improvement and hiking fee has become mandatory for the college management.
