Jamshedpur: 13 more persons have tested positive for Covid-19 in East Singhbhum on Tuesday. One person has been identified as a likely Corona positive suspect. With this the number of total infections in the district has gone up to 336.
11 out of these 13 positive patients have had a travel history. Two had come from Kolkata, three from Delhi, four from Mumbai, one from Haryana, while one has come from Varanasi.
Four of these positive patients are from Kadma area, two from Dhalbhumgarh, one from Telco, one from Burmamines, three from Golmuri, one from Bara Flats, one from Agrico and one from Mamamod (Paklo), Musabani.
All these 13 newly positive patients are being admitted in the Covid wards of the two city hospitals.
On Monday, six persons were found Covid-19 positive in East Singhbhum district. Today the number has more than doubled.
Meanwhile, the district administration has again appealed to the citizens to continue abiding by all the safety precautions to prevent the spread of the disease and to continue social distancing.
