Covid-19 Positive Woman Dies in RIMS Covid Ward, State Death Toll 8

Deceased was being treated for brain haemorrhage, had tested positive for Covid on June 4

Ranchi: Jharkhand has seen one more Covid-19 related death on Tuesday. A 69-year-old woman from Fusro, Bokaro has succumbed to the virus on Tuesday at Covid ward of RIMS, Ranchi.

The deceased woman was admitted into Medica Hospital around a week back. She was facing problems relating to brain haemorrhage. During treatment her blood sample was taken in Medica Hospital for Covid test.

The report of Advanced Diagnostic Centre found her positive for Corona. The doctors of Medica Hospital said that the woman was in a serious condition. She was being treated in the ICU of Medica Hospital even before the Covid-19 report was received.

Her condition further deteriorated after she was shifted to RIMS. She was shifted to RIIMS on June 4, after she was found to be positive. RIIMS doctors said that her condition continued to deteriorate despite all efforts and she breathed her last on Tuesday.
