  • Police deployed as tension rises in Telco area

JAMSHEDPUR – Hundreds of residents protested alleging illegal occupation of a community hall and demanded immediate administrative action.

Meanwhile, tensions escalated at the district collectorate as residents arrived in large numbers. Women participated actively, strengthening the demonstration.

However, protesters raised slogans against the administration over inaction. They highlighted issues faced due to restricted access to the facility.

Moreover, a delegation later submitted a memorandum to officials. They urged quick intervention and fair investigation into the dispute.

On the other hand, residents accused an individual of कब्जा on the hall. They claimed entry has been blocked for local usage.

Meanwhile, construction work is allegedly ongoing on adjacent land. Residents stated they have been opposing this activity continuously.

However, locals alleged threats and physical assault during protests. Some claimed sharp weapons were used to intimidate them.

In contrast, a recent clash between two groups worsened tensions. Four people, including a woman, sustained serious injuries.

Moreover, all injured individuals are receiving treatment at Jamshedpur‘s Tata Main Hospital. Officials confirmed medical care is ongoing.

Meanwhile, earlier reports cited loud music as the dispute trigger. However, residents insisted the hall conflict is the core issue.

On the other hand, heavy police deployment ensured order at the protest site. No major violent escalation was reported during the demonstration.

Moreover, authorities are yet to issue a formal statement. Residents warned protests will continue until resolution.
