A tragic road accident on NH 33 near Humid resulted in the death of a woman and serious injuries to her husband.
SERAIKELA – A severe road collision on NH 33 near Humid has led to the death of 45-year-old Mallika Mahato and critical injuries to her husband, Tarapada Mahato.
Tarapada, a doctor employed at Bihar Sponge Iron in Humid, was traveling to Jamshedpur with his wife for work when the accident occurred.
While crossing the highway near Bhadudih, their vehicle was struck by a trailer, resulting in Mallika’s immediate death at the scene.
Following the crash, Tarapada Mahato was urgently transported to a medical facility in Jamshedpur for treatment.
The incident has raised concerns about safety on NH 33, a major thoroughfare prone to accidents.
