JAMSHEDPUR – A house theft in Birsa Nagar left a family shaken after valuables were stolen overnight.

The incident occurred in Birsa Nagar Zone No. 3. The house is near Hari Mandir.

Meanwhile, the targeted home belongs to Suresh Gop. The theft happened while the family slept.

According to reports, thieves entered before early morning hours. They broke open a cupboard lock.

Moreover, they stole ₹75,000 in cash. Jewelry worth ₹2 lakh was also taken.

However, the crime went unnoticed during the night. No family member heard any disturbance.

Later, a woman in the house woke up. She found the cupboard open.

Meanwhile, Suresh Gop suspects a spray was used. He believes it caused deep sleep.

Such methods have appeared in past theft cases. Police often investigate chemical use claims.

On the other hand, panic spread in the locality. Residents expressed concern over rising incidents.

Police reached the spot after receiving information. They began an investigation immediately.

Moreover, CCTV footage from nearby areas is being checked. Officers aim to identify suspects.

A complaint has been registered at Birsa Nagar police station. Further action is underway.

Meanwhile, the family faces financial stress before a wedding. The niece’s marriage is scheduled on May 3.
