Auto Hits Trailer in Burmamines Area, Two Injured

JAMSHEDPUR – A fatal road accident near Sunsuniya Gate claimed one life after an auto hit a trailer.
The incident occurred under the Burmamines police station area. Panic spread immediately after the collision.
According to information, the auto was being driven at high speed. The driver was allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
Meanwhile, the auto bearing number JH05E E2248 carried three passengers. It lost control and rammed into trailer JH05CY 7749.
However, the impact was severe and devastating. One passenger died instantly at the scene.
The deceased was identified as Sakri Lengi from Chaibasa. He was a resident of Manjhari area.
In contrast, two others sustained serious injuries. They were identified as Sandeep Purti of Kitadih and driver Mohd Sharafat.
Meanwhile, Burmamines police reached the spot after receiving information. The injured were rushed to hospital for treatment.
Moreover, the body was taken into custody for post-mortem. Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
However, officials said the exact cause will be confirmed after inquiry. Drunk driving remains a strong preliminary suspicion.
The accident has renewed concern over road safety in Jamshedpur. Similar incidents have been reported earlier.
