Woman’s Body Found Near BS City College in Bokaro

Police Suspect Sexual Assault and Murder; Identity Still Unknown

BOKARO – Police recovered the body of an unidentified woman from bushes in Bokaro district.

The incident occurred under the Sector 6 police station area. The location was close to BS City College.

Local residents spotted the body during morning walks. Subsequently, police were informed.

The woman was found in a half-naked condition. Her age was estimated around 40 years.

Moreover, the discovery caused panic in Bokaro.

Sector 6 police station in-charge Sangeeta Kumari reached the spot. Bokaro BS City police station in-charge Sudama Das also arrived.

They immediately began investigation after securing the area.

Considering the seriousness, a dog squad was summoned. A forensic science team was also called.

Police officials collected samples and examined the surroundings carefully.

The woman’s head was found completely crushed. Investigators suspected deliberate damage to conceal identity.

Clothes belonging to the woman were recovered beside the body.

Based on the body condition, police suspected murder after sexual assault.

However, confirmation awaited forensic examination reports.

Sangeeta Kumari said the body was recovered following local information. She confirmed the woman remained unidentified.

She added that missing women cases were registered in nearby police stations.

Police were matching the body with missing records. However, identification had not been established yet.

The investigation continued at the time of reporting.

Similar incidents were earlier reported from Bhuiyandih.

Another case involved a body found near Kitadih.

Unidentified deaths were also reported from Chaibasa and other parts of Jharkhand.
