Police Foil Aspiring Gangster’s Plan to Establish Dominance in Area

JAMSHEDPUR – Police arrested three youths with illegal weapons near Dimna Chowk. The suspects were planning to establish extortion racket. Moreover, they wanted to spread fear in the area.

City SP Kumar Shivashish briefed the media on Tuesday. He revealed intelligence about the criminal conspiracy. However, quick police action prevented the crime.

A confidential tip reached police headquarters. Three youths were traveling from Mango toward Dimna Chowk. Furthermore, they carried weapons in an I-20 car.

Patmada DSP formed a special team. Officers set up strategic checkpoints. In addition, they planned the interception carefully.

The police team stopped the I-20 vehicle. A thorough search was conducted. Besides, officers recovered incriminating evidence immediately.

Police seized a Munger-made country pistol. A baseball bat was also found. Moreover, officers confiscated one iPhone and objectionable materials.

The arrested individuals are Mohammad Ayaz alias Faisal. Mohammad Aman is the second suspect. Mohammad Arshad completes the trio arrested.

All three suspects reside in Mango and Azadnagar areas. Police verified their identities quickly. However, detailed interrogation revealed their criminal intentions.

The suspects confessed during questioning. They planned to collect extortion money. Furthermore, they wanted to terrorize local residents.

Mohammad Arshad has previous criminal records. He faced charges in goat theft cases. Besides, he gradually moved toward serious crimes.

Police officials stated Arshad’s progression pattern. He started with minor thefts. However, he aspired to become a local gangster.

The Ulidih police conducted the operation efficiently. Timely intervention prevented potential crimes. Moreover, it stopped an emerging criminal network.

All three accused were presented in court. They received judicial custody subsequently. In addition, police continue investigating other aspects.

Officers are examining their network connections. Further arrests may follow soon. However, police remain tight-lipped about additional details.

The operation demonstrates police alertness. Intelligence-based action yielded positive results. Furthermore, it sends strong deterrent message.
