Graduate College Student Returns from Central Zone Pre-RD Camp

Mithu Rani Mahato Completes 10-Day Training at ITM University Gwalior

JAMSHEDPUR – Mithu Rani Mahato, a student from NSS Unit 2, returned after completing a 10-day Central Zone pre-Republic Day parade camp.

The Graduate College for Women student attended the program from November 5 to 14. ITM University in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, hosted the event. Moreover, participants underwent rigorous training throughout the period.

Mahato’s selection occurred at the state-level camp earlier. Y.B.N. University in Ranchi organized the preliminary event. Furthermore, the selection took place on September 25.

The Central Zone camp featured diverse activities for participants. Morning exercises and yoga sessions began each day. Besides, parade practice formed the core training component.

NSS songs and lectures enriched the learning experience. Intellectual sessions encouraged critical thinking among attendees. Additionally, sports activities maintained physical fitness levels.

Cultural programs showcased regional diversity and talent. Participants visited various tourist destinations during the camp. Meanwhile, numerous other activities complemented the training schedule.

“The camp proved inspirational and energizing,” Mahato shared. She described the experience as highly disciplined. In addition, she called it an unforgettable journey.

Principal Dr. Veena Singh Priyadarshi highlighted the camp’s significance. Such programs instill discipline among students effectively. However, they also nurture positive thinking patterns.

Leadership capabilities develop through these experiences, she noted. Moreover, the spirit of national service awakens naturally. Besides, participants gain valuable life skills.

The principal praised Mahato’s successful participation at Graduate College. Her performance represented the institution with distinction. Furthermore, her dedication inspired fellow students.

Dr. Sulekha Kumari served as Program Officer for NSS Unit 2. She holds the position of Physics Department Head. Additionally, she provided continuous guidance to Mahato.

Kumari’s mentorship proved instrumental throughout the preparation phase. She ensured proper training before the camp. Meanwhile, her support continued during the entire period.

The entire college community congratulated Mahato on her achievement. Faculty members expressed pride in her accomplishment. Besides, students drew inspiration from her success.

Pre-Republic Day camps serve multiple developmental purposes. They prepare participants for national celebrations effectively. Moreover, such programs strengthen patriotic values among youth.
