Mathematical Reasoning Lecture Held at Karim City College

Dr. Shahid Ahmad Hashmi Discusses Applications in Digital Era

Key Points:

  • CAD organizes lecture on mathematical reasoning and its applications
  • Speaker explains binary system foundation of digital world transformation
  • Principal highlights India’s digital development through mathematical applications

JAMSHEDPUR – Center for Academic Development organized a lecture on mathematical reasoning at Karim City College today.

The Center for Academic Development (CAD) hosted the lecture event. The topic focused on mathematical reasoning and its applications. Dr. Shahid Ahmad Hashmi, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, served as keynote speaker.

Dr. Sandhya Sinha, CAD Convener, delivered the welcome address initially. She introduced the subject to the assembled audience. Moreover, she explained mathematical reasoning’s role in problem-solving abilities.

“Mathematical reasoning helps individuals solve life problems effectively,” she stated. The approach develops logical conclusions and solution applications. However, discussing this topic has become a pressing need today.

Dr. Hashmi explained the complexity of the subject area. Mathematical reasoning touches digital global changes and skill development dimensions. In addition, it addresses life’s complexities through inductive methods.

The speaker highlighted AI and digital world transformations currently occurring. Space and knowledge boundaries are disappearing in this era. On the other hand, the entire digital world operates through binary systems.

“The digital universe remains confined to just two numbers,” he noted. Zero and one form the foundation of all technology. Furthermore, he presented several examples illustrating this concept.

A question-answer session followed the main presentation. Attendees expressed their curiosity and thoughts about the topic. Dr. Hashmi provided satisfactory answers and engaged in detailed discussions.

Dr. Mohammad Zakaria, Secretary of Karims Trust, emphasized the lecture’s significance. He explained India’s role as a rapidly developing nation. Meanwhile, he elaborated on mathematical reasoning’s importance in digital scenarios.

Principal Dr. Mohammad Reyaz chaired the lecture session throughout. He discussed mathematics’ importance in his presidential speech extensively. The principal shared thoughts on zero and non-zero concepts.

He appreciated the program’s organization and academic value immensely. Dr. Reyaz congratulated CAD and Convener Dr. Sandhya Sinha. The principal acknowledged their efforts in arranging such programs.

Prof. Ale Ali raised relevant questions during discussions. Prof. Udham and Prof. Moiz also participated actively. Dr. Hashmi addressed their queries satisfactorily with detailed explanations.

The speaker shed light on current applications effectively. He connected mathematical reasoning with contemporary digital developments. These applications demonstrate relevance in today’s technological landscape.

Dr. Reyaz highlighted India’s dynamic digital development journey significantly. The country established its identity as an international participant. Mathematical applications played a crucial role in this achievement.

“India has positioned itself prominently on global platforms,” he observed. Digital transformation relies heavily on mathematical reasoning principles. The changing landscape demands such analytical skills from professionals.

Dr. Firoz Alam, Professor of Hindi Department, presented the vote of thanks. He expressed gratitude to all speakers and participants. The program concluded successfully with active faculty engagement.

The college regularly organizes academic programs for student enrichment. Previous events include expert talks and webinars on critical topics. The institution also conducts skill development workshops and cultural celebrations throughout the academic year.
