JAMSHEDPUR – Students of XLRI Jamshedpur hosted the inaugural on-campus edition of their annual conference, Reflections, on November 2, 2025, through Samarthya, the Human Potential Centre.
The event, themed “AI Pathshaala,” centered on artificial intelligence and its ethical use. It attracted over 220 students from seven schools across Jamshedpur, marking a vibrant exchange of ideas on technology and values.
Dr. Harshit Kumar Singh, Professor of AI & ML at XLRI, delivered an engaging session on the responsible development of AI. He emphasized that technology must serve human progress with fairness and accountability.
After the talk, an inter-school storytelling competition showcased how AI tools can aid creativity. Students demonstrated innovative use of generative AI for narratives, blending art with technology.
According to a faculty coordinator, “Reflections is not just a competition but a platform to build ethical understanding in young minds.”
The conference reinforced Samarthya’s goal of nurturing human potential through purpose-driven learning and value-based education.
