Procession Marks Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s 556th Prakash Parv with Grand Celebrations

JAMSHEDPUR – The Sikh community organized a grand Nagar Kirtan procession on the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s 556th Prakash Parv, with large participation from the community.

The procession started from Sonari Gurdwara. It reached Sakchi Gurdwara Sahib later. People welcomed the Nagar Kirtan at various locations.

Gurdwara committee members participated in the event. School students also joined the procession. They displayed remarkable feats throughout the journey.

Gurbani recitations echoed from some sections. Ardas prayers resonated from other parts. The entire city transformed into a mini Punjab.

BJP leader Amarpreet Singh Kale attended the Nagar Kirtan. He extended greetings to the people of the state. Moreover, he appealed to adopt Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s ideals.

Former SGPC chief Sardar Shailendra Singh also participated. He wished the city residents on Prakash Parv. In addition, he thanked the Gurdwara committees.

He expressed gratitude to the police administration. The successful conduct of the large-scale event required coordination. However, all arrangements worked smoothly throughout the day.

The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from the Sikh community. Traditional martial arts were showcased during the procession. Furthermore, devotional music filled the streets of Jamshedpur.
