JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur Police organized a spirited “Run for Unity” event on Thursday to celebrate National Unity Day, marking the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from police personnel, students, and citizens. They gathered early in the morning to take the national pledge of unity and reaffirm their commitment to the nation’s integrity.

However, the highlight was the unity run that passed through key city routes. Participants carried banners promoting national harmony. On the other hand, officials said the event aimed to spread awareness about social cohesion and brotherhood.

Moreover, Sardar Patel’s vision of a united India was remembered. A local official remarked, “The run symbolizes collective strength and unity.” In addition, motivational songs and patriotic slogans filled the air.
