JAMSHEDPUR – Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce organized a Diwali fair at its premises to promote local women workers and entrepreneurs.

MP Bidyut Baran Mahato jointly inaugurated the event. MLA Purnima Sahu from Jamshedpur East also participated. Both leaders cut the ribbon together.

The fair aims to strengthen Prime Minister’s Local for Vocal initiative. It also focuses on making women self-reliant. The event provides a platform for local women artisans.

Women entrepreneurs are displaying their handmade products. The fair features Diwali decorations and traditional lamps. Household items are also being showcased.

The exhibition enables direct sales by women artisans. It helps them reach customers without intermediaries. Moreover, the platform boosts their confidence and income.

Chamber officials said the fair empowers women economically. It encourages them to become self-sufficient. Local artisans are getting recognition for their skills.
