Senior Officials Lead Search Operation in Mandal Kara Facility

JAMSHEDPUR – A late-night raid was carried out in Seraikela jail under strict supervision of senior district officers.
The operation started around 9 p.m. and continued until 10:30 p.m. SDO Nivedita Niyati and SDPO Sameer Kumar Savaiya led the search team.
Meanwhile, several other officials joined the operation. These included BDO Yasmita Singh, Seraikela police station in-charge Vinay Kumar, Rajnagar police station in-charge Chanchal Kumar, and Sini OP in-charge Rajendra Kumar. A number of police officers and personnel were also part of the team.
However, the surprise action created panic among inmates. The officers carried out a thorough inspection of the security setup and inside the barracks.
According to SDPO Sameer Kumar Savaiya, no prohibited items were found. He said that the purpose of the action was to further strengthen the jail’s security arrangements.
