Police Seize 110 Packets Weighing Over 20 Grams Near RIT

JAMSHEDPUR – Police in Seraikela-Kharsawan district carried out a major operation against narcotics trafficking, arresting three individuals and seizing brown sugar packets.
According to officials, RIT police acted on a tip-off about illegal drug sales near a public toilet on Road No. 32. A raid was conducted under the direction of the Superintendent of Police.
The operation led to the arrest of Sanjay Goswami, Siril Jojo, and Rahul Lohra. Officers recovered 110 packets of brown sugar, weighing more than 20 grams in total.
SDPO Sameer Kumar Savaiyaa informed during a press conference that the accused were caught red-handed. He added that they would be presented before the court.
“Efforts to curb narcotics trafficking will continue with the same intensity,” the SDPO stated.
