Nigmanand Pal and Heera Arqane Join State Committee; Mahendra Pathak Re-Elected

JAMSHEDPUR – The Communist Party of India (CPI) Jharkhand unit completed its three-day state conference at Abhivadan Marriage Hall in Morhabadi, Ranchi.
The meeting elected a 45-member state committee, with 21 members forming the executive. Mahendra Pathak was unanimously re-elected as state secretary. From Kolhan division, Ambuj Thakur entered the executive committee. Singhbhum Zila Parishad members Nigmanand Pal and Heera Arqane were inducted into the state committee.
Several leaders from Jamshedpur, including Dhananjay Shukla, Suraj Nath, Jai Shankar Prasad, Shravan Kumar, S. Vishwakarma, Ram Hari Bera, Jagmohan Samad, Vikram Kumar, and Prince Singh, also participated.
Earlier, CPI national secretary Ram Krishna Panda and Nagendra Nath Ojha addressed the gathering as state in-charge and observers.
The conference discussed the political, economic, and social conditions of the country and the state. Key resolutions included opposition to the four labour codes, settlement for displaced people, abolition of land banks, upliftment of Dalits and Adivasis, investigation into the murder of Surya Hansda, and rejection of orders to revise voter lists.
Eighteen representatives from Singhbhum Zila Parishad attended under the leadership of district secretary Ambuj Kumar Thakur.
