Tech Students Showcase Innovation in 8-Hour Coding Marathon

JAMSHEDPUR – Netaji Subhas University’s School of IT successfully conducted Hack8on 2025, featuring intensive coding competition with professional mentorship and innovative solutions.

The CBNCC Club organized the comprehensive hackathon on July 26, 2025. Meanwhile, participants engaged in an eight-hour coding challenge. However, the event focused on real-world problem solving.

GDG Ranchi provided expert guidance throughout the competition. In addition, Venture Capital offered professional mentorship. Moreover, students experienced industry-standard development environments.

Teams demonstrated exceptional programming skills during the marathon. Furthermore, participants collaborated on innovative technology solutions. On the other hand, mentors evaluated projects based on creativity.

Code Crushers emerged as the winning team. The group included Ganesh Kumar, Ishan Kumar, and Kunal Kumar. However, their solution impressed industry experts significantly.

Care Circuit secured the runner-up position in the competition. Arif Raza and Shruti Kumari formed this successful team. Moreover, their project showcased remarkable technical innovation.

Dr. Ranjan Kumar Mishra serves as Dean of IT School. Meanwhile, he supported the hackathon initiative actively. In addition, university administration encouraged student participation.

The competition attracted numerous talented programmers from various departments. Furthermore, participants worked on diverse technology challenges. However, all teams maintained high coding standards.

Mentors provided continuous guidance during the development phase. Moreover, industry experts shared valuable insights with participants. On the other hand, students gained practical experience.

The CBNCC Club coordinated all hackathon activities successfully. Meanwhile, organizing committee members ensured smooth event execution. In addition, volunteers assisted participants throughout the day.

Teams presented functional prototypes after intensive development sessions. Furthermore, judges evaluated solutions based on innovation criteria. However, all projects demonstrated significant technical merit.
