JAMSHEDPUR – A 22-year-old man died in a tragic road accident near Golmuri Golf Ground on Friday night after his scooter crashed into a divider.

Arman Sheikh was riding scooter number JH05BC3083 when it went out of control. Moreover, the vehicle struck the road divider with significant force. However, he sustained critical injuries in the impact.

Some eyewitnesses reported that Arman was using his mobile phone while driving. Furthermore, this caused him to lose balance at high speed. Meanwhile, the distraction led to the fatal collision with the divider.

Local residents rushed him to Tata Main Hospital immediately after the accident. However, doctors declared him dead upon arrival. In addition, medical staff could not save his life despite efforts.

Arman resided at Old Purulia Road Number 10 in the city. Besides, he worked at Safety Co Enterprises shop near Jama Masjid in Sakchi. Moreover, he was the primary income source for his family.

He was the eldest among four brothers in the household. Furthermore, his father confirmed Arman was traveling from the shop toward Golmuri. Meanwhile, the accident occurred during this routine journey home.

The family has been devastated by this sudden loss. However, they now face severe financial difficulties without their breadwinner. In addition, relatives and local residents are seeking administrative assistance.

Police have registered a case regarding the accident. Meanwhile, authorities are investigating the exact circumstances of the crash. However, preliminary reports suggest mobile phone usage might have caused the tragedy.

Road safety experts emphasize dangers of using phones while driving. Moreover, such incidents highlight need for stricter enforcement of traffic rules. Besides, awareness campaigns about distracted driving remain crucial for preventing similar accidents.
