NSUI Launches Membership Drive at Co-operative College

JAMSHEDPUR – The National Students’ Union of India launched its membership campaign at Co-operative College with district president Sachin Kumar Singh leading the initiative.

The program commenced at 12:00 PM under district NSUI supervision. District president Anand Bihari Dubey attended as chief guest for the occasion. Moreover, coordinator Rajneesh Singh participated as distinguished guest during the ceremony.

Dubey formally inaugurated the campaign by enrolling students as NSUI members. He emphasized the importance of large-scale student participation in the organization. Furthermore, he stressed the need for dedicated academic focus among participants.

The district president highlighted leadership development opportunities within NSUI framework. Students can serve society at block, district, state and national levels. Besides, such involvement cultivates social service and national service values effectively.

Dubey reminded students about their future family responsibilities alongside current academic obligations. He encouraged joining NSUI for comprehensive educational oversight and support. Meanwhile, membership facilitates intellectual development and leadership capacity building simultaneously.

The organization provides platforms for students to voice their rights and facility concerns. Student union membership through NSUI enables effective advocacy for educational improvements. Consequently, participants gain valuable experience in democratic participation processes.

Coordinator Rajneesh Singh announced expansion plans for all colleges under Singh’s leadership. He declared that student voices cannot be suppressed anymore. In addition, the campaign will reach multiple educational institutions systematically.

The first day witnessed remarkable response with 123 students enrolling as members. This participation demonstrates significant interest in organizational activities among college students. However, the drive will continue across various educational institutions.

NSUI aims to strengthen student representation in educational policy discussions. The membership campaign reflects growing awareness about student rights and participation. Moreover, such initiatives prepare future leaders for broader social responsibilities.

East Singhbhum District Congress Committee vice-president Sanjay Singh Azad supported the initiative. His endorsement highlights political backing for student organizational activities. Furthermore, congress leadership recognizes NSUI’s role in youth development.
