MEDININAGAR – Preparations for the annual Tribal Development Mahakumbh Fair in Palamu’s Dubiyakhad are in full swing. Held on February 11-12 every year, the fair promotes tribal development and community engagement. On Monday, Deputy Commissioner Shashi Ranjan chaired a meeting to discuss arrangements for the event at the Collectorate auditorium.

Focus on Public Outreach and Assistance

During the meeting, DC Shashi Ranjan emphasized the fair’s objective of raising awareness about government schemes. Various departments will set up stalls to inform visitors and provide assistance. Beneficiaries will also receive asset distributions as part of the government’s initiatives.

Measures for Crowd and Event Management

To ensure smooth operations, the DC directed the Sub-Divisional Police Officer and Sadar Circle Officer to prepare crowd control plans. The fair committee was advised to recruit volunteers as needed for efficient management. Responsibilities for site cleanliness were assigned to the municipal corporation, reflecting a collaborative effort for the event’s success.

The Tribal Development Mahakumbh Fair continues to be a significant platform for connecting communities with development opportunities while celebrating tribal heritage.
