MEDININAGAR – On Saturday, the Art of Giving and Volleyball Association organized a marathon starting from Shivaji Maidan in Medininagar. The event was inaugurated by ASP Rakesh Kumar Singh, along with City Police Station In-charge Devvrat Poddar and Traffic In-charge Samal Ahmad, who flagged off the marathon.

Dignitaries Praise the Initiative

ASP Rakesh Kumar Singh lauded the event, emphasizing that such initiatives foster social awareness and community engagement. He remarked, “Programs like these contribute to creating a more conscious society and should be conducted regularly.” City Police Station In-charge Devvrat Poddar echoed these sentiments, highlighting the role of awareness in driving positive social change. Traffic In-charge Samal Ahmad also appreciated the efforts behind the event.

Objective of the Marathon

The Chairman of St. Mary’s School, Avinash Dev, stated that the marathon’s primary goal was to promote awareness about education, health, and sports. Durga Prasad Johri, the secretary of the organizing association, mentioned, “The event was aimed at spreading awareness and bringing the community together for a noble cause.”

Participation and Conclusion

The marathon concluded near Sahitya Samaj Chowk, with enthusiastic participation from individuals, including students from Heritage and St. Mary’s schools. Prominent participants included Naveen Tiwari, Abhilash Chanchal, Harishankar Singh, Jitendra Soni, Manish Mishra, Lalan Prajapati, Shubham Prasad, Neeraj Jaiswal, Hansraj, Sanju Shukla, and Ram Kishore Pandey.
