JAMSHEDPUR – Roti Bank Charitable Trust celebrated its 10th anniversary by distributing meals to over 10,000 needy individuals at Sakchi Roundabout. Chairman Manoj Mishra highlighted the organization’s journey from feeding 10 people in 2015 to serving over 2,000 daily.

Founded on January 15, 2015, Roti Bank has steadily grown to tackle hunger and malnutrition across Jharkhand. Addressing the gathering, Mishra stated, “Our mission is to eradicate hunger and support the underprivileged through consistent efforts.”

New Initiatives for Students

During the event, Manoj Mishra announced an upcoming program named “Kaun Banega Genius,” which will provide a platform for talented underprivileged students to prepare for competitive exams. The program’s structure will be revealed soon, with plans to launch in February.

Community Support and Recognition

The event saw the participation of key community figures, including social worker Rabindra Chaubey, who praised Roti Bank’s work and urged citizens to support the initiative. Social worker and Lions Club representative Purobi Ghosh honored Manoj Mishra and presented a large umbrella as a token of appreciation.

Participation and Contributions

The event, managed by Rishi Gupta with a vote of thanks by Kishore Verma, saw significant participation from members, including Salawat Mahto, Renu Singh, Subhashree Dutta, and others. It served as a testament to Roti Bank’s dedication to community welfare.
