JAMSHEDPUR – RPF arrested three women for allegedly stealing valuables from a passenger at Tatanagar station.

The theft happened on January 8. Meanwhile, victim Gudiya Devi reported her missing purse.

The Chakradharpur division deployed investigators. Moreover, they traced suspects to the Jhargram area.

Officers captured one J Bhaiya and two others. Furthermore, they recovered all the stolen items.

The team found gold and silver ornaments. Meanwhile, they retrieved Rs 12,000 cash.

“Swift response led to immediate arrests,” noted a railway security expert.

Legal Proceedings

Authorities sent suspects to judicial custody. Additionally, they investigate possible accomplices.

The suspects operated in station premises. However, RPF caught them promptly.

“Railway security remains our priority,” remarked a senior RPF official.
