JAMSHEDPUR – A woman from Jugsalai has filed a police complaint against a man for allegedly exploiting her sexually after making false marriage promises.

The incident came to light on January 6 when the victim approached Bagbera police station. The accused, who resides in Chandrapur, had developed contact with the woman. Moreover, their communication continued through regular phone conversations.

Legal Actions Initiated

Police officials have registered a formal case under relevant sections. In addition, special teams are conducting raids to locate the accused. “We are taking this case very seriously,” stated a senior police official.

“The accused has been charged under appropriate sections of the law,” confirmed a police source.. Meanwhile, investigators are gathering evidence from the lodge where the incident allegedly occurred.
