JAMSHEDPUR – Anand Marg Universal Relief Team Global collaborated with Purnima Netralaya to organize a comprehensive eye care camp at Sonari.
The camp provided free eye examinations to local residents. Medical teams identified 70 patients needing surgical interventions.
Surgical Interventions
Doctors performed 30 cataract and tear duct surgeries. Each patient received free lens implants.
The remaining 40 patients will receive surgery tomorrow. All procedures include complimentary lens implantation.
Ongoing Initiative
The medical team conducted thorough eye examinations. They screened 160 patients during the camp.
A new eye camp will open at Anand Marg Jagriti Gadhra. It’s scheduled for Thursday, January 9.
