Police Launch Probe into Court Complex Brawl Involving Woman, Elderly Man

JAMSHEDPUR – A violent confrontation between five individuals at the Jamshedpur court premises led to police intervention and multiple complaints.

The clash erupted around 11:30 AM on Monday at the court complex. Three people from one group confronted two others near the entrance.

“The incident has raised serious concerns about security protocols,” said a court source. Meanwhile, regular court proceedings faced brief disruption due to the commotion.

Security Measures Under Review

The incident has prompted court authorities to enhance security measures. Moreover, additional police personnel have been deployed at key entry points.

On the other hand, the Sitaramdera police station has increased surveillance. “We are reviewing CCTV footage from multiple cameras,” revealed a police source.

Previous Incidents

This is not the first such incident at the premises. In fact, three similar altercations were reported last year.

Furthermore, the court administration has announced stricter entry protocols. Besides, visitor screening will be intensified to prevent future incidents.
