ADITYAPUR – Police arrested two men for firing at a company’s gate in Adityapur.

The shooting incident took place on January 4, involving suspects who attempted to intimidate the security personnel.

Shooting at Company Gate

On the night of January 4, two individuals, Sameer Kumar Jha from MIG-18 and Sarvjeet Sharma from Adityapur-2, allegedly fired at the gate of a company in the Adityapur industrial area. The suspects had threatened the gatekeeper to open the gate, and upon refusal, they opened fire.

Prompt Police Action

Following the incident, the assistant HR of the company, Sanjay Kumar Gupta, lodged an official complaint at the RIT police station. Acting swiftly, police conducted a raid based on a tip-off and arrested the suspects the following day.

Seizure of Weapons

During the arrest, the police recovered a country-made pistol, two live cartridges, bullet fragments, a motorcycle, and mobile phones from the suspects. The recovered items were secured as evidence for the ongoing investigation.
