JAMSHEDPUR – A tragic incident claimed the life of 20-year-old Sambhav Kumar, who fell from the Kadma Toll Bridge while taking a selfie. Despite being rushed to TMH Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. The young man hailed from Ichhapur in Adityapur.
Sambhav, accompanied by two friends, Shubham and Ravi, ventured out late Tuesday night for New Year celebrations. The group reached the bridge, where Sambhav climbed the railing to capture a video. Unfortunately, he lost his balance and fell.

Tragic Fall During Festivities
The accident happened when Sambhav was perched on the bridge railing. His friend Shubham, also on the railing, narrowly escaped harm. Police officials confirmed that Sambhav’s body has been placed in TMH Hospital’s mortuary for further procedures.
Police Investigation Underway
Kadma Police, led by Inspector Sanjay Suman, have initiated a thorough investigation. Sambhav’s friends are currently being questioned at the police station. Authorities have also informed his family about the tragic loss.

Postmortem Scheduled
Officials have stated that Sambhav’s body will undergo a postmortem on Wednesday. This will aid in providing clarity to the ongoing inquiry.
