JAMSHEDPUR – In a tragic accident on Tuesday evening, 54-year-old Rajkamal Mishra from Jhumka Mohalla, Chakradharpur, lost his life at Tatanagar Railway Station. He fell while attempting to board the Howrah-Mumbai Geetanjali Express on Platform No. 3.
Rajkamal Mishra, a teacher at Utkramit Madhya Vidyalaya Kudahatu and currently posted at Arahanga Primary School, Surbuda Panchayat, had come to Jamshedpur for personal work. While returning to Chakradharpur, he attempted to board the moving train but slipped, falling onto the tracks. One leg was completely severed, and the other was partially amputated.
Immediate Medical Attention Fails to Save Life
Railway personnel promptly rushed him to MGM Hospital. However, due to the severity of his injuries, he was referred to TMH, where he passed away during treatment. Mishra hailed from Begusarai, Bihar, and is survived by his wife, a son, and a daughter.
