SERAIKELA – Police in Seraikela-Kharsawan district have initiated intensive foot patrols across station areas to ensure public safety during New Year celebrations.
In line with SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat’s directives, security personnel conducted foot patrols on Monday in areas such as Sini OP and Adityapur. Officers engaged with the public, emphasizing that any attempt to disrupt peace should be immediately reported to the police.
New Year Precautionary Measures
Police have intensified their vigilance, aiming to curb incidents like hooliganism, harassment, and public intoxication. Authorities warned that those caught misbehaving in public spaces could face legal action, spending their New Year’s Eve in custody.
