ASEKA Demands Formation of Santhali Olchiki Academy in Jharkhand

JAMSHEDPUR – The winter session of Santhali Olchiki board examination concluded on Sunday with tests in mathematics, Hindi, and English subjects.
The examination, organized by ASEKA, began with prayers to Vidu Chandan, the tribal goddess of learning. Students from primary to intermediate levels participated.
Academic Development
ASEKA General Secretary Shankar Soren voiced concerns about delays. “The state government must expedite the academy’s formation,” he stated.
Moreover, the organization seeks recruitment of Olchiki teachers. This would strengthen the language’s educational infrastructure.
Regional Participation
The examination center at Narwa Pahar attracted candidates from various areas. Students from Potka, Galudih, and Rajnagar participated.
Furthermore, Principal Durga Prasad Murmu of Asada School supported the event. Local educators contributed to its successful completion.
