JAMSHEDPUR – The Baridih Shrimad Bhagwat Katha Organizing Committee announced the upcoming spiritual event from January 4 to January 11, 2025, at Vijaya Gardens.
Ravi Singh, speaking on behalf of the committee, shared the objectives of this event, which include promoting Sanatan Dharma and acquainting youth with the teachings and life of Lord Krishna.
Kalash Yatra to Mark the Opening
The event will commence on January 4, 2025, at 9:30 AM with a Kalash Yatra. Starting from the Vijaya Gardens Club House Ground, the procession will collect holy water from Domuhani, Sonari, and the Subarnarekha River before returning to the event site. Women participants will don yellow sarees, with all arrangements for Kalash and coconuts made by the organizing committee.
Daily Spiritual Sessions
The Katha will take place daily from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, featuring a Vrindavan-based storytelling team led by the renowned speaker, Pt. Pawan Krishna Gautam. The sessions aim to provide spiritual insights and deepen faith among devotees.
Promoting Harmony and Tradition
The event seeks to foster social harmony and provide an opportunity for the community to come together in devotion. The organizers have made extensive preparations and urged devotees to attend in large numbers to make the event successful.
