Steel City Gears Up for Grand Christmas Celebrations Amid Tight Security

300 Police Personnel to Guard Churches, Traffic Restrictions Imposed

JAMSHEDPUR – The Steel City has intensified security arrangements for Christmas celebrations while churches prepare for special services and midnight mass.

The traffic police have announced restrictions. Heavy vehicles cannot enter the city during festival hours.

Meanwhile, plainclothes officers will monitor sensitive areas. Police stations are coordinating with church authorities.

Security Measures

Around 300 police personnel will guard the city. Traffic outposts remain on high alert at key locations.

Moreover, special attention focuses on Bistupur, Sakchi, and Golmuri areas. Officers will monitor for traffic violations.

Church Celebrations

St. Joseph’s Cathedral plans a symbolic midnight procession. Children will carry lighted candles during the ceremony.

Furthermore, Beldih Baptist Church prepares for early morning services. St. Mary’s Church will host a grand midnight mass.
