JAMSHEDPUR – A drunk driver caused multiple accidents near Khudiram Bose Park in Makhdum Pur, injuring several people on Saturday night.

The driver hit several vehicles while traveling from Parsudih towards Khasmahal. Police took him into custody after local residents caught and reported him.

“The driver was completely intoxicated during the incident,” said a local witness. “He frequently drives recklessly in this area.”

Accident Details

The collision left four to five people injured including Mohammad Arman from Makhdumpur-2. Moreover, a cyclist and motorcyclist suffered serious injuries.

Meanwhile, Parsudih Police Station Officer Faiz Ahmad arrived with forces at the scene. Furthermore, police managed to calm down angry residents after the incident.

Medical Response

The injured victims received treatment at Sadar Hospital. Additionally, medical staff provided immediate care to those in critical condition.

On the other hand, local residents demanded strict action against the driver. Besides, they highlighted his history of drunk driving in the area.
