SARAIKELA – Police conducted extensive foot patrolling around educational institutions to prevent harassment of women and enhance security measures.

The operation was carried out under SP’s directive through ‘Prahari’ initiative. Moreover, officials focused on preventing loitering and criminal activities.

Circle inspectors and station officers led the patrols. Meanwhile, teams monitored areas identified as vulnerable to harassment incidents.

The operation covered key locations near schools and colleges. Furthermore, officials maintained vigilance at spots known for troublesome activities.

Collaborative Effort

Both Saraikela-Kharsawan and Chandil subdivisions participated in the drive. Additionally, all police stations deployed their personnel for the operation.

The initiative aims to create safer spaces for women. Besides, regular patrols will continue in identified sensitive areas.
