The conclave, known for bringing together 253 of India’s 704 scheduled tribes, has become a platform for fostering dialogues through “Akhra,” a concept rooted in traditional tribal village meetings.

This year, Samvaad welcomes over 200 new participants who join a decade-long legacy of tribal engagement and learning.

The opening day also featured a mesmerizing performance by Garima Ekka, lead vocalist of a Nagpuri band, following an energetic show by the Colours of Jharkhand cohort with the 401 nagadas.

Workshops and sessions for the Samvaad Fellowship are being held at the Tribal Cultural Centre in Sonari and Johar Haat near Prakriti Vihar, Kadma.

Additionally, 100 stalls have been set up, showcasing handmade artifacts, tribal healing practices, traditional art, and culinary delights prepared by tribal home cooks, offering visitors a glimpse into age-old wisdom and stories.
