JAMSHEDPUR- Jharkhand prepares for crucial first-phase assembly elections covering 43 constituencies with 1.37 crore eligible voters.

The electoral landscape shows significant variations between urban and rural constituencies.

Meanwhile, BJP displayed strength in urban areas like Ranchi with 1.11 lakh votes.

However, the Grand Alliance maintained dominance in tribal regions like Chaibasa.

Moreover, Jamshedpur East witnessed BJP securing 1.35 lakh votes against JMM’s 40,000.

In contrast, Congress led in constituencies like Mandar with 1.31 lakh votes.

Furthermore, independent candidates have created three-way contests in several seats.
