JAMSHEDPUR – Congress candidate from Jamshedpur East on Sunday raised serious questions about BJP family’s conduct and governance capabilities.
A press conference in Sidhgora on Sunday brought forth significant concerns about the Das family’s conduct.
“How can someone who cannot control her own household ensure the safety of an entire constituency?” remarked Dr. Ajoy Kumar, highlighting his apprehensions.
A local Congress leader later noted, “The incident at Puri Railway Station has become a major talking point in regional politics.”
Meanwhile, Dr. Ajoy Kumar said that the assault case involving Lalit Das and official Baikunth Pradhan remains unresolved.
He said that the incident occurred on July 7 when luxury cars weren’t sent to receive Das at Puri station.
However, despite Odisha Congress demanding strict action, no significant steps have been taken.
Dr. Ajoy said that the matter has escalated to the National Human Rights Commission seeking justice.
Impact on Local Politics
According to Dr. Ajoy Congress leaders plan to pursue this matter vigorously in various forums.
“This case represents a broader pattern of concerning behavior from the Das family,” stated Dr. Ajoy Kumar.
The party’s legal team continues to monitor the investigation’s progress in Puri.
Moreover, Odisha Congress intends to raise this issue in the state assembly, he further added.
Dr. Ajoy Kumar was accompanied by District Congress president Anand Bihari Dubey and Ramashray Singh.
