CM Soren Announces Expansion of Model Schools to 5,000 Across State

RANCHI – Jharkhand’s Chief Minister Hemant Soren unveiled plans to establish free schools for underprivileged children across all 24 districts of the state, starting next year.

At a Job Skill Conclave in Dhanbad, CM Soren announced the initiative to open ‘Shram Awasiya Vidyalayas’ (residential schools) through the labor department.

Moreover, he revealed plans to increase the number of model schools from 80 to 5,000 statewide.

The Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening the younger generation.

In addition, Soren distributed offer letters to 36,996 youths recruited by various national and multinational companies.

Furthermore, he credited travel and unemployment allowances to youths undergoing training at block-level skill acquisition institutes.

The event also saw the unveiling of 217 projects worth approximately Rs 178.12 crore for Dhanbad district.

Meanwhile, Soren encouraged the newly employed youths to continue pursuing their goals and advancing their careers.

On the other hand, he highlighted the success of many state youths who now hold high-paying positions in renowned companies across India and abroad.

The Chief Minister reiterated his government’s focus on improving education and healthcare since taking office.

However, he stressed that the future of these young professionals depends on their individual aspirations and efforts.
