UCIL Announces Key Leadership Changes; Rakesh Kumar New Mines Agent for Narwa

Rakesh Kumar appointed as mines agent for Narwa Uranium Project

Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) has implemented a series of high-level transfers, reshaping its management structure.

JAMSHEDPUR – UCIL has announced significant leadership changes, with several senior officials receiving new assignments across its operations.

Rakesh Kumar has been appointed as the mines agent for the Narwa Uranium Project.

Kumar will now oversee operations at the Jadugoda, Bhatin, and Baghjata uranium mines.

Manoranjan Mahali, previously the Narwa Pahad mines agent, will manage these mines under the Jaduguda Group of Mines.

A welcoming ceremony for the new appointees was held at Narwa Pahad.

Senior officers, including Chief Medical Officer Bhattacharya, greeted the new appointees with bouquets.

SN Mahato and Jai Prakash Jha were among the key figures present at the welcoming ceremony.

USIL Technical Director Manoj Kumar announced the transfers.

SK Sengupta, currently based in Turamdih, is expected to receive a significant role in the Central Personnel Department.

Sengupta’s new position is yet to be officially confirmed by UCIL.

The reshuffle aims to optimize UCIL’s operations and leverage the expertise of its senior officials.

These changes reflect UCIL’s commitment to maintaining efficient management across its uranium mining projects.

The transfers are expected to bring fresh perspectives to various departments within the organization.

UCIL continues to play a crucial role in India’s nuclear energy sector through its uranium mining operations.
