A woman and her two children sustained severe burns after a gas cylinder exploded in their rented house in Daigutu, Mango, Jamshedpur.
JAMSHEDPUR – A woman and her two children sustained severe burn injuries as a result of a gas cylinder explosion that occurred in a rented home in Daigutu, Mango.
The woman, Gauri Devi, was cooking when the incident occurred on Friday morning.
The injured were promptly transported to MGM Hospital by local residents, who responded promptly to provide assistance. They are currently undergoing treatment.
Gauri Devi, who has since lost her spouse and is currently employed in the homes of others to provide for her family, was utilizing a small gas cylinder for cooking.
The cylinder had been depleted of gas, prompting her to replenish it at a nearby shop.
The cylinder began to release gas during the cooking process.
As Gauri attempted to adjust the cylinder’s top, it detonated, resulting in burns for her and her two children.
Gauri Devi sustained injuries on her back, while her six-year-old son, Bahubali Kumar, had 80% of his body burned.
Her ten-year-old son, Suraj Kumar, was also severely injured, with 50% of his body being scorched.
According to physicians, both infants are in critical condition.
The local community is in a state of shock, and they are hoping for the injured to recuperate quickly.
