Woman found unconscious near tree in Chandingar after thunderbolt incident

A Jamshedpur resident narrowly escaped tragedy following a lightning strike in her neighborhood.

JAMSHEDPUR – A 45-year-old woman was hospitalized after losing consciousness near a tree during a lightning strike in Sitaramdera area.

Gulabi Tanti was found unresponsive near a Peepal tree in Hume Pipe Road Chandingar locality.

The incident occurred when Tanti stepped outside to collect clothes during a thunderstorm.

Family members quickly rushed her to MGM Hospital for immediate medical attention.

Doctors report that while the patient is breathing, she remains unable to speak due to shock.

According to relatives, Tanti experienced an electric shock while handling clothes near the tree.

The sudden bolt of lightning caused her to faint on the spot.

Medical staff at MGM Hospital have confirmed that Tanti is now out of danger.

Preliminary examination suggests that intense fear from the thunderbolt led to her loss of consciousness.
