MGM Medical College students held a candle march in protest against the murder of a junior doctor in Kolkata.
JAMSHEDPUR – Students of MGM Medical College, along with members of Jharkhand Indian Medical Association and Junior Doctor Network, held a candle march on Tuesday in protest against the murder of a junior doctor in Kolkata.
The participants carried candles and posters, demanding strict punishment for the culprits and enhanced security for doctors.
The march began from the MGM Medical College campus and proceeded to Dimna Chowk.
During the event, a two-minute silence was observed in memory of the deceased doctor, and tributes were paid.
Key participants included Dr. Raghavendra, Secretary of Jharkhand IMA Junior Doctor Network, Dr. G.C. Manjhi, President of IMA, and Dr. Saurav Chaudhary, Secretary of IMA, along with several doctors and students from the medical college.
